| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the student facilitator and explaining (SFAE) cooperative learning model on students' interest and understanding in learning mathematics. The type of research is quantitative research (Pre-Experimental Design). The population and sample are all 16 class X MA Ibrahimy Al-Amin Banyuwangi students. The sample in this research was obtained using Saturated Sampling. Saturated sampling is a technique for determining a sample with all members of the population, namely class X students at Madrasah Aliyah Ibrahimy Al-Amin. This research is experimental research in the form of Pre-Experimental Design. The design used in this research was One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. In this design there is a pretest before treatment and a posttest after treatment. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques use instrument tests, prerequisite tests, and hypothesis tests, regression tests, path tests. The results of the paired test produced a sig value from the student interest questionnaire of 0.000 < 0.05 and for student understanding it produced a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05. This shows that the student facilitator and explaining (SFAE) type cooperative learning model has an effect on increasing interest and understanding. student. So it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted because the student interest and understanding data has a value of sig > 𝛼 (0.000 ≤ 0.05), so there is an influence of the student facilitator and explaining (SFAE) cooperative learning model on students' interest and understanding in learning mathematics. | en_US |
