Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Komat untuk Meningkatkan Berpikir Kritis dan Berpikir Kreatif Siswa dengan Model Circ di SMP
Abstract
Education is one measure of the quality of a nation. To improve the quality of education in Indonesia, it is necessary to increase human resources (HR). This improvement can be done by developing critical thinking and creative thinking in students. And also the need for appropriate teaching materials and learning models. Such as comics packaged in the form of teaching materials and the CIRC learning model as a syntax for learning. The objectives of this research are 1) Knowing the validity of mathematics comic teaching materials to improve students' critical thinking and creative thinking, 2) Knowing the effectiveness of mathematics comic teaching materials on statistics material using the CIRC learning method, 3) Knowing the practicality of mathematics comic teaching materials using the learning model CIRC. The method used in the research is Research & Development with the 4D development model according to Thiagarajan (1974). The research subjects were 28 class VIII students. The product developed went through validation stages from 2 material experts and 2 media experts to determine the suitability of the product. Products are tested on learning to test effectiveness. The assessment results from material experts obtained a percentage of 77% for material expert presentations and 83.5% for media expert presentations with the category very valid for use. The results of the product effectiveness test using SPSS version 26 show that the significance level (sig 2-tailed) is 0.00 ≤ 0.05. So it can be said that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores. in an effort to improve students' critical thinking and creative thinking, it is declared effective in use in the learning process.
