    Abstract
Listening skills are crucial for the development of children's language abilities. One effective method for stimulating listening skills in young children is the Simak Terka method. This research aims to: 1) Improve listening skills in early childhood through the Simak Terka method in group B2 at RA Ibrahimy Sukorejo Situbondo, and 2) Assess the results of implementing the Simak Terka method in enhancing listening skills in group B at RA Ibrahimy Sukorejo Situbondo. This study employs Classroom Action Research (CAR), which involves systematic observations and deliberate interventions within the classroom over two cycles. The process of improving listening skills using the Simak Terka method begins with children sitting properly at their desks. The teacher then provides material and instructions for the activity. Next, the teacher describes an object to the children without revealing its name and allows the children to guess the name of the described object. The results show a significant improvement in the children's listening skills. In the pre-cycle phase, the percentage of children meeting the completion criteria was 14.29%. After the intervention in Cycle I, 22 out of 42 children (52.38%) achieved the completion criteria. In Cycle II, 36 children out of 42 (85.71%) met the completion criteria. Based on the results of Cycle II, the research was concluded as the target classical completeness of 80% was achieved, and no further cycles were necessary.
