dc.description.abstractThis research aims to develop a Word Game Book product to teach vocabulary at the English Language Education Institute (LPBI) of Zainul Anwar Islamic Boarding School. This research used the R&D (Research and Development) method or development research to produce a product. This product development adapts the Borg & Gall model that has been simplified, namely from the stages of Need Analysis, Product Development, Expert validation & Revision, Product TryOut & Revision, and Final Product. The instruments used in this research are questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The population and sample of this study were 22 basic class students and one English tutor at the English Language Education Institute (LPBI) of Zainul Anwar Islamic Boarding School. The results of the validation by the content expert were 98% in the “very proper” category. In addition, the validation results by design expert were 100% in the “very proper” category. The result of the try-out was 96% by students in the “very proper” category. It can be concluded that the Word Game Book is very proper for teaching English Vocabulary at the English Language Education Institute (LPBI) of Zainul Anwar Islamic Boarding School.en_US
