    The Effect of Pop-Up Book on Students’ Vocabulary Mastery in Intermediate Class at Language Boarding House of Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Sukorejo Situbondo

    Abstract
    The study aimed to find out the effect of pop-up book on students’ vocabulary mastery at Language Boarding House of Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Sukorejo. Vocabulary mastery is important for students in learning all of the language. In other words, the more vocabulary students have the easier for the students to communicate. The researcher used quantitative as the method with preexperimental one group pre-test and post-test designed. The sample of this study consisted of 26 students of intermediate class. The researcher used pre-test and posttest to collect the data. The research finding showed that the use of pop-up book gave a significant effect on students’ vocabulary mastery. The result of calculating paired sample t-test showed that the value of sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05. it means that pop-up book is effective on students’ vocabulary mastery.
